Super friendly and helpful staff. Park in the immediate lot is limited but there is a free parking garage for guests right behind the building. The rooms are awfully dated but everything was cleaned as best it could be. At this price, you can't argue for much more.
This hotel/motel (I can't remember which it's considered) is pretty good for the price and location. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Things feel a little outdated in the shower, but still a cool older hotel to visit, and the price was great for downtown (or anywhere else in duluth for that matter)
My boyfriend and I stayed here for my birthday and our anniversary and the view from our room was amazing and the employees were very nice. We will most definitely stay here again
View of the lake from the 3rd floor was awesome! Price was reasonable, and motel is in a good location. Clerks were polite and efficient. Rooms are dated, but it's an older motel so we expected that, and older motels have more charm than the chain ones. Room was fine (we don't expect perfection) EXCEPT more attention needs to be paid to the cleanliness of the bedspread/blankets. I understand it is not practical to launder all bedding every time it is used, but there were some cringe-worthy spots that were easily noticeable on the bedspreads. We bring our own blankets to hotels because most places only wash sheets daily, and the rest monthly. That said, I would still stay there again.
