We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus Spirit Mountain. Our room was nice and comfortable. The Staff were helpful with questions we had. And they were very friendly even though a huge snow storm had just come in. The hotel is close to everything but far enough way with traffic. We cannot wait to visit again.
Overall a nice motel, with friendly, helpful employees, great free breakfast, and comfortable furnishings. There were a few minor issues with the room (slow sink drain, missing knob on whirlpool), but nothing major. We didn't use the pool or workout facilities, so can't rate them. For those of you who like a constant fan on at night to drown out noise, this motel's heaters actually have a "Constant Fan" mode! Also, the elevator has a partition around the entrance (like a room), so even though we were very close to it, we heard no elevator noise. Good thinking on that design!
Love this hotel. It is a much better value than some of the other locations in Duluth. I love that it is right next to the Thompson rest are and Spirit Mountain. It is very easy to get to and you don't have to deal with parking ramps or anything. Room was fine. Staff was fine and helpful when needed.
Good price. Cold pool. Lots of road noise.
Overall the stay was good, especially since we used points for the night. The hot tub was nice and pool area was clean. We were disappointed by the pillows - they were flat and made for poor sleep. The breakfast was okay but the waffle mix had gone sour and items that were supposed to be refrigerated were not. Location was accessible for both Spirit Mountain and downtown Duluth.
