Out of all the other places you can stay this one is the closest to the water line and you are also the furthest down the line so you are right by all the action in Canal Park as well as being very close to the canal to watch the boats come in and out. You are also right on the boardwalk so you can literally park your car and just stay in Canal Park the whole time you are there.
I will be letting others know not to waste their time and money!
And I'll say it again, all the staff, each and every time we spoke to them, were friendly, happy, positive and helpful. Even the late night staff, which gave some good recommendations on where to go to get some late night eats.
This hotel was very warm and cozy. Lots of room to visit with in the hotel. Guest service was terrific and all the staff was friendly. We had great views all around us. We loved that this hotel had a nice pool and 2 hot tubs. The breakfast assortment was wonderful.
The staff was very friendly, the room was very well done and the service all around was awesome. Breakfast was a generous 6am to 10am which I appreciate as I'm a late riser, and even coming down at 9:15am, it was still fully stocked and you didn't feel like you were picking over the crumbs. Waffle bar was great as well and the whole breakfast area is super nice.
OMG!!! First of all the young African American male at the front desk!!! Kudos. Outstanding service a full of great tips and information and really made what was a challenging day truly “comfort”able. Comfort suites you’ve got a good one there!!! I highly recommend the fireplace/ hot tub room. After a long day it’s a simple indulgence. During the winter months the upgraded rooms are a little more on the budget friendly side if things. You get a great view of the lake... if you’re a light sleeper you may want to avoid it as you do hear a lot of horns. The beds were comfy lots of pillows. The extra blanket was easily accessible and they had a stand for my suitcase. I loved all the windows to see the Lake. Overall great spot!!! The complementary breakfast is a true breakfast with many options. They even had milk substitutes for those who need them I’ll be staying there again on my next trip!!!
I was able to get a third floor (top floor) lakeside room. Absolutely gorgeous. Very spacious and comfortable. Staff was fantastic and very helpful with questions. Plus free breakfast. Hope this is helpful.
I've stayed at each of the four hotels in Canal Park that are on the water and I can say that the Comfort Suites was by far my favorite. I got a suite on the 3rd floor and the views were amazing of the lake. It was nice to have the windows open at night and listen to the waves breaking on the rocks, just like a lullaby.
Terrible!! No sleep what so ever. People above were running around all night. Sounded like a romper room! Waste of almost $200 As far as I'm concerned. I told staff u hadn't slept in 4i hrs due to a family emergency and I was asked to stop at front desk in morning to make sure my requested 12 noon checkout was adhered to. What? Get up early to tell them? Why ask for a late checkout if that's the case!
