My husband and I stayed at the Ellery House in July for one night. It was a delightful experience all around! Our room was charmingly decorated and spacious with a small, but quaint bathroom attached. Everything was immaculately clean. The innkeepers did a lovely job of anticipating traveler's needs with touches such as a mini-fridge, wonderfully thick and comfy robes, and a bottle opener & wine glasses. Breakfast brought a delicious array of food served in gorgeous vintage dishes. I highly recommend a stay at the lovely place.
We came here as a group of 3 for a bachelorette getaway. It's a beautiful and peaceful place to stay! The breakfasts were outstanding! Delicious muffins, fruit, French toast, homemade cookies, egg souffles. They were very accommodating to me being vegetarian as well. Jim was so nice and pleasant. I would highly recommend!
Cozy yet spacious rooms. Comfy bed. Lovely breakfast. Walkway needed trimming. We had a relaxing and romantic evening in Duluth.
Jim, the innkeeper, is there most genial and hospitable of hosts. He makes the most wonderful breakfasts and will deliver these to your room.
However, you should NOT do this! If you ready breakfast in your room you will miss out on the great conversation around the breakfast table. The other guests are interesting people from across the country and often have great stories. And, if you linger after breakfast, Jim will usually regale you with his own stories over an extra cup of coffee!
The bed and breakfast was awesome! Our room had a sun room that we spent most of our time in. Also, the food was so delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
