Is this a real Leann Chin? Food is definitely not up to par with Leann Chin in the Twin Cities.
Update: They changed the name of the place to Mandarin Express now. They kept the old menu and the food looks the same. I'm guessing they didn't want to pay for the LeeAnn Chin franchise.
This is not a true Leeann Chin. A buddy of mine who worked at an actual one told me that its nothing like the one he worked at. The menu is different (more suitable for a mall I suppose), the way they cook the food is different, and they get their food from a different supplier. Its a toss up between this place and Max Orient across the food court for which is better. I usually go to Max Orient, but occasionally the food looks better at Leeann Chin. Always check both sides before you pick which to go to, but overall I don't go to this one.
The people working did not have good people skills so it was really awkward and difficult for me and my friends. Also the rice was really weird and cooked badly.
Terrible food! My son and I split a container and I almost died when the total was $13.78. The fried rice was burnt and the noodles OLD!!! I informed them it was the worst asian food I had ever tasted. They didnt argue. I recieved a full refund.
