Went to order at 7pm and they are already cleaning the grill, they say it will be a 10 minute wait. I come back 10 minutes later and the wont acknowledge me, they are putting everything away, so i look at the website and see they are open until 9pm. Terrible employees. So i order elsewhere and continue to watch a dozen other customers turned away without acknowledgement, again, TERRIBLE EMPLOYEE'S!!
Wow is the first word that comes to mind. This was the first Charley's I've ate at and it was great! The quality of the meats are great here, and the sub was grilled to perfection. They handed out free samples of the chicken sub and I was sold right away. You can see them cook the steak and chicken on their grill behind the glass, and it is quite a cool process to watch. My friend asked me if this was a local place because he saw how into it the employees were, and surprisingly its not. The owners are just that dedicated to their franchise. Also, the cheesy bacon fries are definitely worth every penny. Its a little bit more spendy compared to the subway right next door, but its totally worth it for what you get.
It is by far the best sub I had so far. It is always fresh and hot and the service is good as well.
Best Cheese steak! The sandwiches and fries are always hot, fresh and delicious. I go to the mall just to eat here - not even shop - just for dinner. The couple that is always there (I believe may be the owners) are friendly and it is fun to watch them chop on the grill. The veggies on the sandwich are fresh and the lettuce crisp. Yum!
This is hands down the best Sub place in Duluth. I come across the bridge from Superior WI. Just to get them. The crew at the West Duluth location are upbeat, friendly, and treat everyone like a VIP. The Philly Cheese Steak is the best!!!!!
