Tom K. did a great job of listening to my plumbing issue. He then came back and described the actions he was going to take along with the time frame. He resolved the problem very quickly and adeptly. I would definitely call the company again. ***EDIT: I have to lower my rating. When I had another issue with a kitchen sink clog, the pvc pipes were glued into the metal pipes making it impossible to remove. I ultimately fixed the clog myself, but this really made the job much more difficult.
I am very pleased with this company. They are professional, thorough, clean and punctual.
Working with Kalkbrenner Plumbing and Heating has been nothing but easy through our whole bathroom remodel. The thing that I valued the most was Tom's constant communication with me as he was working. I was made aware of any issues and able to make decisions, with his expertise, regarding any potential changes real-time. He treated me with kindness and respect, and my home as if it were his own. Additionally, the pricing was reasonable and they stuck to what was discussed.
I called them because I needed a sump pump installed in my basement I did not have one in there currently. From what I was reading the average very quite greatly from 1500 bucks on up. The plumber told me it would be $3500 to have one in installed. I asked him why it would be so much. He said because they use a higher-quality pump. I informed him that I am just selling the place and just need something in there to sell it so I don't need anything expensive. Would it be possible to just have a pit installed? And then he said what really got me, "yeah I can but remember you are paying a licensed plumber to do a laborers job". Apparently Benjamin Franklin plumbers are above us "laborers" and deserve much more money. He Did not offer me any cheaper solutions.
