This is one of the best places around to check out trains! They have a bunch of old train cars & engines that you can get into and see as well as a great model train exhibit. Well worth a visit.
As long as you are OK with the entry price (expnsive, but this is not a cheap facility to manage), a great place to visit. Take your time, and you will spend 60, 90 minutes easy. Lots too see, lots of interesting info on the signs.
Tip: follow the yellow painted line to get to the entrance. Easy to miss it.
Excellent museum. Enjoyable for the entire family. Be sure to ride the excursion train.
I had a terrific experience at the museum. It's a museum that you can spend hours at and not see everything. There were some guides that were very helpful and provided a lot of fascinating information and history. Highly recommended.
