On the website and even right on their checkout desk it says they have a discount for your first visit. They did not give me this discount and when I asked she said they don't offer it even though it is advertised. They called me about a week later and I asked again why that false advertisement is on their website and she just brushed me off and then asked if I wanted to schedule another appointment... No THANKS!! I will not go back here.
Ashley was Amazing! Just like you I went and read reviews first before I came in and she honestly did an amazing job.
Grace is amazing. She has a wonderful personality and offers me tips and suggestions on how to care for my skin. She even pushes me to step out of my comfort zone and try new things :) Thanks for making me feel better about myself, Grace!
Unfortunately I will not be returning to Waxing the City. I went into this boutique extremely excited, as this was my first waxing down there, and was eager to see the results after my wax! Unfortunately the woman who waxed me did not leave the amount of hair I wanted and I was uncomfortable looking at myself in the mirror for the few weeks following; I booked several future appointments with Waxing the City, hoping to regrow my hair and get the correct waxing done in the future. I was informed that I would receive a confirmation email.and phone call regarding my appointments, as they are scheduled over a month out, for convenience. The day of my following appointment I received a call telling me I was 15 minutes late for my appointment. I preceded to tell the woman on the phone that I had received no reminders prior and I had forgotten about my appointment, the woman was very unfriendly and went on to tell me that if I didn’t cancel my appointments with a 24hr notice that I wouldn’t be able to book with their boutique anymore. I am very disappointed in their staff and even more disappointed in the organizational method they have for their reminders for their customers. They have great potential and maybe I will give waxing another try, just not with this boutique.
