Five stars! My husband and I have always had wonderful experiences at Bullyan RV. Andy sold us our first camper and was fantastic to work with. We've also purchased an ice house through Andy too. The service staff have been great to work with. We've been in for parts and repairs, all visits have been positive. I would - and have - highly recommend Bullyan RV to friends and family.
EDIT 8/20/16: Dropping my 2 star rating to 1. We just called up to Bullyan to see if they were going to make this right and one of the service guys said they never fixed our Grand Design fifth wheel. They said the parts came in and were dumbfounded when they couldn't find our camper on the lot. UNREAL. I will edit my post if they come and get it and fix it. The sale went great but unfortunately I cannot say one good thing about this place after our experience. We've used our fifth wheel literally twice since March when we purchased it brand new. SO DISAPPOINTING. The only consolation in all this is that I can leave my honest review and know that people make decisions based on these reviews. I will update if they choose to make this right with us.
Edit 8/29/16: Called Bullyan last week and spoke with the service manager. He said they never even looked at the battery/power issue. We verbally told them twice about it and I even gave them a list with all the issues that needed to be addressed, including the battery problem. The manager still had my list but said they never even looked into the power problem. So now we sit with a camper that we can't use and they won't come and get it, even though this was a huge error on their end. Throughout this whole mess, not one person has spoken the words "We are so sorry" or "I apologize for this." I was really hoping to hear "We screwed up big time, we are sorry, and we want to make this right with you." Dream on. Go elsewhere if you're in the market for an RV. Anyone can sell you a camper, but it's what happens after the sale that really matters and clearly, Bullyan hasn't figured that out yet.
Bought locally because I thought that I would get better service, could have saved $1,000 buying from Michigan, with the way they work on your RV don't worry about where you buy your RV because they are horrible to deal with. They took a week to get my RV in then 2 weeks to look at my RV to do the warrantee work, and then they got the work approved by vendor and took another 2 weeks to get parts. Now another week to get back into have the work done. Everything that was wrong could have been fixed in a few hours, nothing major was wrong with my RV they just suck. Sounds like the service industry for RVs is all the same so shop around and that should be one of your first questions, get it in writting that they will fix things in a timely manner. I do like my RV and salesman was nice but would still be nice to have everything working when I use my RV. Buyer beware.
Edit June 2016: Josh B came through for us and made it right. We had to haul it up there and we weren't able to use our seasonal site the opening weekend as we had hoped, but it got fixed. Josh B gets 10 out of 5 stars, but I can only give Bullyan RV 3/5 stars due to dropping the ball big-time when we needed our brand new fifth wheel fixed. Thank you, Josh!!
We bought a new Reflection 29rs from Chris Yost and he was great to work with. Also we've had a couple of issues that we had to bring it in for and I am very happy with their service. I've read some bad reviews, but my experience has been very good. I would recommend them.
Josh B at Bullyan RV was great to work with. We had been shopping around for a new fifth wheel for quite a while and heard all the typical sales lines out there and that all got old, fast (Pleasureland in St. Cloud is AWFUL!). Josh isn't the typical "pushy" salesman and in fact, he didn't use one single sales line on us throughout the whole buying process.
Edit 12/16/16: Husband got a phone call back in Sept. that he had to work out of state and he needed to be there the next morning. Couldn't take our camper (we bought it for him to use while traveling for work) because Bullyan never came and fixed it like they said they would. So he was stuck paying $400 a week for a hotel for 3 months (nearly $5,000) out of our pocket when we could have been using this instead. Thanks Bullyan. Talked to Josh B earlier this week and he was super nice (as always) and I'm confident that he is going to make this right with us this spring. We will see!
Friendly staff. Andy and Chris. Very helpful. Not too intrusive. Informative. Not too pushy. Great experience. Thanks!
EDIT 8/18/16: I'm dropping my review from 5 stars to 2 stars. We dropped off our fifth wheel for some warranty work, two of those issues being with the battery not staying charged and a problem with the leveling system/jacks. I called on a Thursday and they told me it was fixed and could be picked up anytime. So the following Saturday, we went to go pick it up. After waiting nearly a half hour to have them bring it up front for us to haul home, we attempted to hook it up and noticed it didn't have any power. We wrote it off as a dead battery and went home. Plugged it in and now 5 days later, it still isn't working right and the leveling system says there is an error and won't work again. This was one of the main reasons we hauled it up there and we just took their word for it that they fixed it. We are over an hour away so now we get to spend another half day hauling it back up there during the busy camping season. I will edit my post if they make this right with us. Until then, I am NOT a happy camper.
