Very happy with our 2 dogs 4 day stay. We have a 110 # Lab and a 90 # not quite 2 year old Presa Canario which came home their happy selves. They were pretty tired the next day which for them means they were outside playing in-between raindrops Which makes them really happy. Harbor City also accommodated a big mistake I had made in arrival time which could have been a real Problem. Thanks and we will board again
Place is a dump. Lady who answered the phone gave me the run around and her excuse was that she was sick. It is NOT my problem that you are sick. I am here to conduct business, not hear about your pathetic personal issues.
She was returned healthy, though, so she was kept alive and safe.
Most expensive kennel I've used, my dog came back with some behavior issues she'd never had before. She is great with other dogs, especially those with temperament issues and helping them socialize. Did not like that I wasn't allowed to see the boarding area/kennel... only kennel I wasn't allowed in the back!
I have brought my dog here twice. The first time, we brought him home and noticed he had a large scab on his nose once we got there. We called and it was reported he had pushed his nose through the cage in excitement to get out of the kennel when other dogs were getting let out and that this is a common occurrence especially for first timers. Would have been nice if they would have told me when I picked him up. Owner said they try to take precautions when they know a dog will do that. We decided to give them another chance because of the excellent reviews and recommendations we've seen. Bad decision. Again, he had a huge scab on his nose, AND large sores all over his lips AND a super runny nose and a cough. I'm hoping it is not kennel cough as the owner requires up to date vaccinations to board animals. We had even called to check on him to make sure he wasn't rubbing, owner said he was doing great and she hadn't gotten any reports from her staff! Clearly, she is uninvolved in the care of the animals that stay there. Very unimpressed, and will not return.
Good care of my dogs for over 15 years. Nothing fancy, but your dog will be treated well and have good care.
