Beautiful trail that has an incredible view of lake superior at the end. The full trail is a little over 4 miles.
I grew up on Park Point, and this beach will always be home for me. Amazing place to bring travelers. Its like standing next to the ocean.
Nice, private beach that is hidden. Lots of space to relax at. Sand is nice and soft.
Love the fine sand! Great place for rock lovers/hunters. The water seems warmer here, so many were swimming. If you're not familiar with the waves and the knowing the condition of the water (it's indicated by the beach house) don't swim because the undertow is strong here even on what feels to be a calm day wind wise. Beautiful views to the left and right. One of the only sand beaches around Superior.
The water was very clean and the sandy beach was comfortable to walk in. We even did a little rock hunting and found some good stones. We went on Tuesday and it wasn't too crowded. There is even an area by the restrooms where lifeguards are on duty. If you're lucky, you could even watch cargo ships coming in and out of the bay. (But this isn't the best spot to get a great view of the ships)
