A hidden gem. Quiet and out of the way with great hiking.

A lot to do if you're an outdoorsy person. Cross country ski, stroll, backpack, snowmobile, and the superior hiking trail runs through it.

Excellent hiking and exploring. Many different types of flora, animal and bird species abound. In the fall of the year the color change of the trees is spectacular. Only 20 minutes from downtown Duluth.

We really enjoyed the creek and stone arch bridge in the middle of the park.

Unprecedented view of the Saint Louis River.

Outstanding walking area. On trail or off trail, plenty to explore. Also connects with skyline parkway. But not by vehicle. High dirt trail leads to Ely peak tunnel. In fall with colors it is one of the best walks in the entire city.
