This is a bad place. It kills my spirit every time I think of my experiences here. Would not recommend.
I would give this place zero stars if I could. I love other TJ Maxx locations, and usually walking through TJ Maxx doors feels like walking onto the Hogwarts Express. But entering the Duluth location feels like walking onto the Hogwarts Express and being greeted by a soul-sucking dementor like Harry was in The Prisoner of Azkaban. Shout out to Paul, though. You go.
Generally one of my favorite places to shop, however today I experienced extremely poor customer service - I was attempting to return some clothing items, one of which I didn't have the receipt for and was unable to return and the situation was handled in a very unprofessional manner - The two women I spoke with used a tone of voice, such as to talk down to me and when I asked why I couldn't return it, they got defensive and essentially argued with me instead of calmly giving me an explanation and apologizing. Following the encounter, I finished my shopping and went to check out where I was again greeted by them, staring and giving me dirty looks, while they let another employee ring me up. Among other comments that were made in this encounter, this was quite possibly some of the worst customer service I have ever had.
T.J Max has nice selection of band name clothes for everyone of all ages and sizes. Whenever I'm looking for gifts,, my first stop is T.J Max and usually the last LOL Happy shopping everyone:)
If it were possible to give a 0 star rating I would. My experiences were nothing short of a nightmare. I've been to many TJ Maxx locations and have been treated with such respect and had high expectations for this location. However my questions were handled with little respect and seemed to belittle me. I asked to speak to a manager and was shocked to find out that their treatment of me was much of the same. What a shame that a good, christian company, like TJ Maxx, would allow such a terrible customer experience to go on for many customers.
