This dump makes Duluth look bad.

The real gem here is the Alpine Coaster! rode it many many times! My kids (11yrs) also loved it the most. Kids say that they need more rides and/or other stuff there. The mini-golf was in HORRIBLE shape! And it's really weird layout. In short you come here for the Alpine Coaster and a ride or two on the zip line. I suggested to one of the employees to put in a pool. The employee's (mostly high school boys to very early 20's) were excellent. Very friendly and approachable, that's nice to see in kids that age.

We camped at Spirit mountain for 2 nights, the camp ground seemed clean and well maintained. Obviously a very popular place because we just showed up last minute and the campground was full, so plan ahead if you want a site! However they had field tenting you can just walk into and throw up your tent on a first come first serve basis. This worked just fine for us as we weren't even at our site much, with how much there is to do around Duluth. And We were also still able to have a fire at night with the scattered fire pits around the field.

Had to wait until 1 PM to pay $47 for two lifts and like eight slopes. The lift serving the solitary open black diamond dripped oil on you, and the pair of apathetic lifties at the bottom didn't even try to brush the puddles of slush off the seats. They just told us not to sit in the oil. Thanks for nothing, lifties.

Reservations were easy, campground was clean, and walk-in tent sites were decently secluded. Bathrooms/showers were okay. Allowing pets without discrimination is a huge plus. Easy-going experience with small room for improvement.

Most disappointing skiing of my life.

Paying the same price for few hours here as I have for whole day in the Swiss Alps, I expected a little more.

Even living five minutes away, I will never be back. Giant's Ridge is incomparably superior, opens at 09:30 and costs $32.

Campsites are beautiful, each one tucked away in the woods. Much nicer than many campgrounds where all the sites are visible to one another in a large open space. Much more privacy.
