Nice place. People that run it were nice. Stayed there with friends and teenagers and all of us had a good time. Close enough to Duluth to go shopping, zoo, canal park or boating.

A nice campground, not as private of campsites as I would have preferred.

This is a nice campground and the staff is nice, but of the four mornings here the bathroom was always locked, and they pack the campers in too tightly.

Great little campsite. The whole campground is sitting on a peninsula so there is water on alk sides of you with a path encircling the grounds to see it. Got a chance to stop and talk with the owners for a bit and they are great, light hearted people. A great spot right on the fringe of Duluth. 5 minutes from the heart of the city.

We've been coming here for many, many years... I won't say which site, (because I want it to be available when I call to reserve it!), but we find the park to be one of the quieter ones we patronize. This is probably because there's no pool or playground, but most of the sites are quite spacious with lots of grass and tall, mature cottonwood trees which bathe much of the campground in dappled shade. There's also a large open green space in the center of the campground, with a gazebo if you want to have a dry gathering place. The cute little store does seem to have somewhat erratic hours, but they have a large stash of magazines to borrow! The bathrooms my hubby says are perfectly adequate for him, but not up to my standards. If you want to dress privately, you're going to have to do it in your shower stall, standing up, and make sure you have a way to hang all your stuff so as to not have to put it on the floor... Or bring your own bench. Shower temps are hit and miss, and occasionally you get a ZERO hot water shower. The campground does sell out on weekends, so we usually try to come up on a Sunday and leave on Friday. This goes a long way towards a better bathroom experience as well. If you're trying to drive from southern Minnesota for a Friday night to Sunday night trip, be prepared to get TOTALLY boogered in traffic, to the point where you're literally at a complete stop on the interstate. We just drove up here, (so going north towards Duluth), this past Sunday afternoon, and witnessed yet again the stopped traffic heading south. This has nothing to do with Indian Point Campground, but is relevant for anyone heading to Duluth for the weekend. You have been warned!
