Collector's Connection is the best place in Duluth to get the most recent comics. In my Great MN Comic Tour I visited all three locations available in Duluth that advertise themselves as 'comic stores' and while I liked all of them this was the only one I was able to get a new release at. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they had a very nice new release wall with the big brands represented as well as some smaller indy brands. They had quite a selection of Howard the Duck back issues in great condition, I wish I had brought more money with me. They also carried quite a variety of well priced older back issues. My only complaint would be the size of the store feels quite small and the layout feels kind of strange. I can't quite explain it, most of the comics are cramped together into one side of the store and then the other side of the store is wide open with a wall of seemingly random short boxes filled with 70's comics. But that's the only thing preventing it from being a perfect store. If you need a hook up for new releases this is the place to go, plus they offered to bag and board my new purchase for $.25 which I was very impressed by.
Been going here 5 years, Tom Broman and Glenn are some of the best guys around, good service, friendly and some great deals to be had here.

I have always enjoyed my visits to Collector's Connection. They have one of the best selections of comic books in the area, fantastic prize support for Magic events, and a good assortment of other items of interest: DVD's, CD's, board games, books, figurines, etc. The staff here are phenomenal! They are knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely interested in helping you. A wonderful shop!
