Such a fun museum with an excellent view of the lake! There are great videos, TONS of exhibits, and an actual old pilot house that was rebuilt so you feel like you are driving an old ship. There's also a great little shop in the basement. The only negative I have about this place is the restrooms. Cleaning often takes hours and the room still smells like a musty bathroom. But worth it, nonetheless.
Extremely informative. Lots of fun to visit. There are hands on displays, which are always lots of fun. They also have a nice gift shop on the bottom level. Plus if you're into watching the ships come and go in and out of the harbor, they list the ships and approximate times of them. Neat place to visit.
This place brings back so many nostalgic memories, I love this spot and it's a need to visit for me when I go to Duluth.
Always a great place to visit when in Duluth, it was a cold and windy day when we visited. There were surfers trying to catch a wave on the opposite side of the canal, sailboats were enjoying the windy conditions out on Superior.
This is such a neat place to go! Beautiful views of the ships and the canal and SO much history inside. One of our favorites in the area!
