The variety of locally owned shops and restaurants is convenient. Friendly and a beautiful view of Duluth and Lake Superior.
Great staff and location and history. They offered a great rate for an upgrade to one of the penthouse suites and it was outstanding. But best of all is they addressed our issue on the spot. I sat in the lobby for an hour one day and could overhear them speaking to customers and they really go the extra mile. We made use of their shuttle service too which is handy since Duluth has no Uber.
Best fries in the known universe; I always get the wild rice classic "burger" when l go there. I'm not a vegetarian, it's just THAT good! Most excellent beer selection as well! I think this must be my favorite place to eat. I often stop here before hitting the woods or the trail, and it fuels me well for that first day/night.
Music was ok. Bartender not knowledgeable about gluten free beer. Played pool and left. Not worth the $10 cover.
Wonderful spot! Lots of shopping, nice variety, awesome historic building, great food options plus lodging right on the water, wonderful views. Plan on going back soon!
